YOUNO MATTER HOW ACCOMPLISHED , EXPERIENCED , OR KNOWLEDGEABLE SOMEONE ELSE IS , THEIR LIDS DO NOT BELONG ON YOUR JAR . TAKE OFF THE LIDS AND BE FREE !

RELATIONSHIPS activities , but Steve ’ s father came to him and said , “ Son , don ’ t let that teacher put a lid on your jar . Who is she ? What has she done ? Who has she become ? Don ’ t let her lid be the lid on your jar .”
I LOVE this story , because it illustrates one of the main reasons most people , including you , don ’ t have what you want ( YET ): There ’ s a lid on your jar . Maybe several lids !
If you ’ re sitting around wishing for a million dollars , but there ’ s a lid on your jar telling you it ’ s hard — or impossible — to have it , the likelihood of you acquiring a million dollars drops to almost zero .
It ’ s the same for all your other goals , whether we ’ re talking about your dream relationship , your dream house , your dream business , or whatever goals you have .
The great thing about lids is that you only have them because YOU accepted them , which means YOU have the power to take them off !
No matter how accomplished , experienced , or knowledgeable someone else is , their lids do not belong on YOUR jar . Take off the lids and be free !
Now that you understand why reaching your goals is next to impossible with lids on your jar , let ’ s talk about one of the keys to making what you want actually happen !

GET IN ALIGNMENT TO GET YOUR RESULTS

According to both Universal Law and the strategic approach to results , four things MUST be in alignment in order for you to create . When any one of these areas is out of alignment with your goal or your intention , you will either never get there , or it will take a lot longer to get where you want to be .

Here are these four key areas , in order :

• NUMBER ONE : Your beliefs .
• NUMBER TWO : Your thoughts .
• NUMBER THREE : Your words .
• NUMBER FOUR : Your actions .
Let ’ s go back to our example of wanting a million dollars . You want it , but you don ’ t have it yet . Why ?
Because you ’ re not believing , thinking , speaking and acting in a way that ’ s completely congruent with the reality of having a million dollars . If you were , you ’ d already have it .
